Can you save the Guardians and their Realms?

The realms are filled with diverse guardians who have dedicated centuries to protecting them. However, wicked Scorians have recently begun to imprison these guardians and push the inhabitants of these realms into seclusion. Your role is crucial in inspiring these creatures to reclaim their courage and rise against the nefarious invaders. Unlike ordinary games, this unique experience requires you to engage in real-life activities that hold personal meaning for you, encouraging the creatures to join your cause. Once they have joined your team, it is your responsibility to guide them through rigorous training missions that will hone their skills and equip them to reclaim their realms.

Assemble a custom team of pets and deploy them on missions carefully tailored to enhance their diverse array of skills. In the meantime, be sure to acquire essential items and cosmetic outfits that will bolster your pets' capabilities on their noble quest. Prudent pet management is key as you strive to halt the Scorians' advance and liberate the guardians.

The Guardians transcends mere pet collection and training; it serves as a powerful tool to develop the necessary skills for combating depression and enhancing overall well-being. Developed within the Affective Computing Group of the MIT Media Lab, this game utilizes psychological techniques found in mobile gaming to reward and foster healthy habits, imparting invaluable skills for battling depression. By prioritizing self-care and making strides towards personal growth, you are actively supporting the welfare of both the creatures from distant realms and yourself.
